7th & 8th Grade Social Studies
Message from Coach Rabon
Welcome all to the start of a great school year at EES. As a 1st year teacher, I look forward to getting right down to it and start educating young minds with the wonderful subject of Social Studies, or as I still like to say, HISTORY. In my classroom, my main goal will be to further help our Wildcats understand social studies in the type of environment that will be fun to learn. Also, I want to challenge them to learn with various assignments including papers, hands-on projects, and other assignments as well. If students come prepared, willing and wanting to learn, they WILL learn about history. 7th Grader's will be learning about the Eastern World, which includes Austraila, Asia, and Africa. Our 8th Grader's will be learning about US History through the eyes of North Carolinians. At the end of their time at EES, they will be prepared to move on to the high school level Social Studies and be successful with the knowledge they will carry over.
